Altrincham Storytelling Club. Monday 26th August… With guest teller Michael Kerins.

Organising it at the last minute from Italy, using a half dead (still in that condition) computer, the newspaper missing the date off the advert, me missing the fact that it was a Bank Holiday Monday in the UK and with Man Utd playing Chelsea at Old Trafford… we still managed to fill the place!!! WOWSER!!!

Monday was a fabulous success Michael was a big hit  and hailed by all who attended especially those who came from as far afield as, Hebden Bridge, Warrington, Chorley, Liverpool and Leicester !!! A great big thanks to all. Penn and Stan O did a grand job of “supporting” Michael and what about Harry? A star in the making don’t you think?

Thank you Barney for your gracious participation, allowing Michael to have you swimming on the table! He is a bit of a rascal isn’t he? But we all loved it! By the way, for those of you who sadly couldn’t make it on Monday but want to know what’s happening next, I’ll keep you posted. My computer is still very sick, I’m trying to keep it going until I leave for Thailand next week when I’ll leave it to get fixed (I hope).

Concentrating mainly on training… the next session is the excellent “TOUCHING NERVES” workshop on the 20th of October. There are quite a few places booked already and places are very limited so please, book soon to avoid disappointment. No really serious storyteller should miss this workshop and… I can assure you it is equally useful for other disciplines as well!

I won’t lie and say that I’m going to miss you all when I’m off sunning myself in THAILAND for a month although there is some work to do too, but I will definitely be thinking of you all so stay cool and keep telling.

In the meantime much love, thanks and hopefully, some more sunshine to you all… until October.
